The Nordic Spitz Dog

Known in its native Sweden as Norrbottenspets, The Nordic Spitz is a medium size breed, very clean with no doggy odor, and a quiet house dog. Averaging about 25 pounds when grown, the breed was developed as a hunting dog and requires a moderate amount of exercise. The Nordic Spitz is registered with the UKC (United Kennel Club) and (CKC) Canadian Kennel Club. We have begun the process of becoming recognized by the AKC (American Kennel Club Foundation Stock Service.

We have been raising and showing dogs for over 30 years. In the past we have owned and shown Shih Tzu, Toy Fox Terriers and Tibetan Spaniels. Our puppies are raised in the house with us and have started their training before they go to their new home. We are located in Southern California.
